Garage decluttering and organizing eases stress especially if you walk through the space regularly. The garage is a great place to store items that aren't affected by heat and humidity (if living in Florida or similar). It can get cluttered up easily though, because not everyone walks through the garage. Items tend to pile up because out of sight items are forgotten about easily. For my garage I categorized by item and sometimes by project types. For example, all car fixing items, cleaning stuff and car parts are put into a category.
